Depends on your price range and where in GA you are talking about.

Savannah, GA: Cotton Exchange, Lady and Sons, Six Pence Pub, etc. If you like seafood...Savannah is close to Tybee Island, which is known for its delicious fish (Uncle Bubba's and the Crab Shack are both popular).

Athens, GA: The Grill, DePalma's, Angelo's, Athens Steam Co Pub, etc. The Varsity is famous in these parts...and ok if you are on a budget.

Statesboro, GA: Beaver House Inn, French Quarter Cafe, etc.

Augusta, GA: La Maison on Telfair, French Market Grill, Veritas, etc.

Atlanta, GA: The Vortex Bar and Grill, Cheesecake Factory, Veni Vidi Vici, etc. Atlanta is huge so it really depends on which part you end up visiting. They also have a Varsity restaurant if you are on a budget.

That covers most of the major cities/college towns in GA. And of course there are always your chain restaurants in each of those towns. Enjoy!

Probably Imperial Fez in Atlanta. I agree with Maruf above. It is listed in the top 50 restaurants in America, is very expensive and is truly superb! My best experience in georgia so far. Second is the Jekyll Island club! St. Simon's has some good places as well.
Worst was Paula Deen's Pink house! Sucked the big one!

Georgia is a big place. We are known for our Southern Hospitality and Down Home Country Cookin'.
Savannah is home of "The Lady & Sons" which is owned by Paula Deene. You can't go wrong eating there. There are many seafood restaurants also.
Atlanta has hundreds of great restaurants from "Mary Macs",
"Einstein's", "The Cheesecake Factory" and "The Varsity" (the world's largest drive-in serving 15,000 people each day, located close to Ga. Tech Campus.
Do a google search on the city you plan to visit and you can find a list of great places to eat.

That depends on the type of food that you are looking for. Georgia is a big state.....it also depends on teh area you are looking in. I know lots of good places in teh Augusta area. I also can tell you that my favorite restaraunt in Atlanta is Azios. But - there are lots of awesome places - so you might consider narrowing your question down more by price level, type of cuisine, atmosphere, and area.

That is an extremely broad question. So, I'm going to go with a local favorite of mine... The Crab Shack "Where the Elite Eat in Their Bare Feet!"
