Would like to avoid obvious choices (Donovans, RuthChris) and hordeously expensive (Gaslamp, Mr. A's)

Its for our 1st anniversary and would like something fairly quiet and romantic

Any suggestions

We like surf, turf, cheese and looking for a great dessert menu (sick of seeing usual cheesecake and mud pie choices)

I see a lot of mushrooms growing after the rain, but i dont trust my own judgement. Is there a place i can go to consult a mycologist. I heard there are poison control centers that do this

I love the white clam chowder served at the Sizzler's Restaurants.
It has a real "clam" flavor and is not too thick.
Who is their supplier for it? Can I buy it in cans?
I'd love to know what gives it that great taste!

Just like the question says. Any info would be great! I'm not a vegetarian myself, but I'm going out with one tomorrow and would like to know a place we could go. Downtown Manhattan would be ideal. Thanks!

Does anyone know of a sports bar in Santa Monica of Venice that Cal Bears fans frequent?

I'm looking for a place to watch tomorrow's game. Thanks!

NYC has Patsys in Halem. Sauce kills you 2 hours later.
DaFari s in Brooklyn is very dirty and slow.
Tacanelli s in Philly is OK

Pizzeria Regina in Boston by far the best. I am originally from NYC and now CT.

Any recomendations, pls dont say Papa Johns or Chicago style

I have friends coming in for the weekend, we are foodies and bar people. Looking for hot spots in the Cherry Creek, Larimer Square area. Our hotel is in Cherry Creek.

We plan to spend a day at each. . .including the 16th street mall area.

I've heard about the Cherry Cricket. . .what else to check out?
Thanks for your input!
