I live in New York City and my favorite place to eat would have to be the Olive Garden. It is an Italian restaurant and the food is great. They give you a choice betw. soup or salad. We must not forget about the bread sticks. Those are wonderful. They will fill you up before you order comes. Oh... most orders do not cost that much either.

SEA in Williamsburg Brooklyn. Thai food, cheap but REALLY good. Apps are between $3-$9 bucks and entrees between $7-$20. Live DJ, pond in the middle of the restaurant, great drinks and kooky perks. There's a swing you can sit & swing on while you wait, the bathrooms have tv screens that you can see everyone else in the restaurant on and the nabe is cool!

I tend to go to places serving food I can't make at home (or don't know how). Here are some of my favorites in the San Fernando Valley. Picanha Steak House, Ruths Chris, Chevy's, Gordon Biersch, and Sam Woo BBQ. Downtown I love Empress Pavillion for real Chinese food.

I'd highly suggest Red Robin's because the eating enviroment and service is terrific over there. My family goes there whenever there's a birthday or just to say congrats on a certain thing.
