I really like this place for Dim Sum and I've attended a Wedding banquet there for a Chinese/Vietnamese couple. Check it out.
888 Seafood Restaurant
8450 Valley Blvd Ste 121
Rosemead, CA 91770-1681
Phone: (626) 573-1888
If you drive towards Atlantic Blvd, there is your Ocean, Seafood Harbor/Village, NBC, New Captial, MPV etc seafood restaurants that can hold 250-350 people. Literally, there are tons of places in the Rosemead, Monterey Park, Duarte, Temple City, Alhambra area. I think 888 is still one of the best. Not sure if the name changed though.

Triumphal Palace in Alhambra is excellent, as is Mission261 in San Gabriel. Both can accomodate wedding parties. Really, these are the cleanest Chinese fine dining establishments in LA (the swankier places are seldom truly Chinese or even Asian-owned).
If you would like a truly honest opinion, I work for the health department and I can tell you where NOT to go (I already see some folks have listed some really tasty, but horribly unsanitary places already). However, you must email me directly for that information.
btw, while I do often eat at 'B' rated places, if you are organizing your wedding, you really shouldn't take chances on getting 300+ people sick. It's not the way you want to remember your special day, and it's a lot of unpleasant work for me.

Well, I myself just gave my daughter away to her new husband at the resturant Xiannishae. It's located in Los Angeles, and has amazing food. The dance floor is rather small, but thats okay because you all have bound feet.

you have already have been given a super call: SILENA Sounds cool to me, and if it seems solid from the line, i might walk in and attempt it. in spite of the indisputable fact that, you ought to anagram it and speak to it aliens (yet i think of you knew that already!).
