ssshhhh don't tell all my relatives in Texas I said this, but I think the best BBQ is in Kansas City, what with Gates & Sons and Bryants. Even the cheap BBQ, like Wyandotte BBQ is delicious there. What do you think?

Where is the best place to get good seafood in the French Quarter. I'm looking for something that is a little upscale that serves lobster tails, crawfish, etc ...

I'll be down there at the end of November for a short vacation and i'm just trying to plan ahead since we only have a limited amount of time.

Will be in Las Vegas in December and want a nice dinner after a wedding for approx 10 people. We'll be staying on the strip so we'd prefer to dine on the Strip, but would appreciate any ideas in the Las Vegas area. Thanks!

Does anyone know of any 18 and up, clubs in Austin that do not play rap music? Or at least, not ALL rap music. I don't enjoy that type of music at all, but I really want to go to some clubs...

There is a special someone that I would like to take out to lunch. She can't eat fried or spicy foods. Most of the restaurants in Manhattan (The City) is fulled with burgers, fries, sushi, and nothing special. Sushi isn't an option either. Sorry for being picky everyone, I've tried almost everything and I've looked everywhere for special small plates that are tasty. Anyone have any suggestions?

It has to be in the Dallas, Texas area.
Please don't be general, and be like.. "country club, or w/e"
Give specific names.

I'm about to open a food delivery business here in San Antonio, Texas! A market that has been truely underserved in this regard. For a nominal delivery fee of $5.00, and a minimum order of $20.00, I'll deliver hot, fresh food from over 10 different restaurants in 45-60 minutes straight to your front door! The name of my business is DELIVER EATS and we'll be opening up in early November, 2007. You'll be able to order over the phone, or online at www.delivereatsonline.com ! No more pizza, just because they're the only ones that'll deliver! Now you can have your choice of over 10 different types of cuisine including Bar-B-Que, Seafood, Mexican, Thai, Indian, and Italian, just to name a few. I'll be serving the North, NW, and Downtown Areas of town to start with. Residential and Corporate business is welcome, Lunch and Dinner available Mon-Sat, Closed on Sunday. My question is this. Who here will use my service? What can I do to improve the concept? What have I forgotten? Thank You!

Is it true that every1 tips every1 in the states?
I had a friend visit and said even at KFC tipping was expected! (she didnt know this, and they dumped her meal in front of her when she didnt tip!) Is tipping restricted to restaurants only? What about fast food outlets... In shops do you tip the sales person when you buy a shirt/etc? Where does it start and stop...
Also if you give 15% will people who provided good service get annoyed at you.. And if you give less, do they generally 'dump' the food at you?
Also (last 1 i promise) - is it expected throughout america, or just selected states?
Thanks so much (in preparation for my trip over!)
