Why dine on the Strip? If you want romantic stay away from the Strip. The food tends to be over priced, and service lacks more often than not. I should know, I serve in a restaurant in a Strip casino. I have 2 suggestions for you Marche Bacchus This is a French restaurant in Desert Shores. There is outdoor seating on the lake. The landscaping is beautiful, the atmosphere is intimate, service is stellar. Every meal I have had there has been amazing. Every bottle of wine we have shared has been perfect. If you go there, ask for Allison to serve you, she does a great job. Rosemary's ( Summerlin location, not the Rio) New American cuisine, developed wine selection, white table cloths, and a fabulous atmosphere. This restaurant is a locals favorite. It is established, romantic, and yummy! Both choices would be a night and a meal to remember.

maggianos little italy its on the outside of the fashion show mall. Its an upscale italian restaurant but very reasonably priced! they have great big steaks. they also have family style food so you can order a few dishes and they just keep coming and coming and coming until you are full. (you get to choose 2 appetizers, 2 salads, 2 pastas, 2 entrees, 2 sides, 2 desserts....and they will constantly fill your bowls. The food is to die for and the atmosphere is really nice. They have special rooms you can reserve if you want. My bf is a bar manager over there. Youll love it!

You might check out Stack inside The Mirage. It's a beautiful restaurant and the menu looks pretty good, if a tad pricey. If you're not sure, call the concierge desk at your hotel. They know every restaurant in town and can make a better recommendation than I could, or they could probably arrange something for your group at one of the restaurants in their property.

Has some excellent reviews on restaurants.
Being a vegetarian and living in Vegas, though, I have to warn you I have never had a good meal on the strip. But, I haven't eaten there in many years so perhaps the chefs have adapted.

Check out VegDining.com for vegetarian-friendly restaurants where both diners will have a choice. The site usually has a great suggestion.
Good luck!
