The fact that my cell nor my gf's wasn't working really sucked as well!! It's like wtf is the point of having a Cell if you can't use it in an emergency.

Yes bieng that im from ny and it was my first year here in san jose I was scared for my life!! i mean you see these things happen in movies and u see them in the news but u never thing it will happen to u, u know what i mean? anyhow i was in my father in laws house helping his daughter come up with a hollween outfit and next thing u know i felt a little shaking but i though it was just here brother and sis playing around hard, until the shaking became stornger and when i looked up in the cieling i saw the walls rattleing and hear my father in law yelling for everybody to come together and stand under the doorway. In my mind a million thoughts raced: the end of the world, a big natrual disaster that can kill us all, god, religion, apocalyps, faith etc......It has me thnking....i dunno if I want to even have kids to bring them 2 this world anymore. I was very traumatized and still am, couldnt sleep. To make things worst I felt the little one the day after so im super freaked out im even considering moving back to NY by now.

I live in Evergreen and I felt it completely.
I'm a teenager, so it's the first time I felt an earthquake.
It was quite scary, for I didn't know what to do.
I mean, we learned what to do in a earthquake at school, but I sort of blanked out.

My friends were at Eastridge too!
They said there was a blackout.

Yeah, I felt it.
I live in Sunnyvale and I was on the second floor at Target. I felt the ground shaking but I thount it was shaking becasue there was so many people up there.
Then the ground doesn't stop shaking..and I saw the panels fall out from the roof and things fall off the shelves. People were screaming and they were all scraming downstairs.
It was crazy...I was soooo scared..

It was a 5.6

I'm way up here in Benicia, and we certainly felt this one!! First indication was a low-frequency moan, followed by a sharp jolt then a rolling motion. the whole thing lasted about 7-10 seconds, or a little longer. No damage, except widening of previously opened cracks in walls. I estimated intensity at about a III or so.

I live in Evergreen about a mile from the epicenter. I was on the couch with my family watching TV when the whole house started shaking and we felt a rattling/rumbling sound and we all ran out in about 10 secs! The whole street was out on the street within a minute. My kids were terrified.

Snell street, I was stayin in my room. The whole room started shaking (at first I thought it was the washing machine runnin lol), well lasted about 30 sec. I wasnt freaked out that much since a table is nearby my bed, just try to hide under, think of a way to get out the house asap.

Heck yeah! It was sort of scary, it was the shakiest earthquake I ever felt. My cupboard in the kitchen opened and my favorite cups came crashing down, frames falling off, books sliding off etc :( I live in a mobile home, so it makes it more shakier? Sort of made my house a mess. But it was all good :) My sister said it was good that we had an earthquake 'cause it we didn't, most likely we could've gotten a bigger one o.o
