My husband and I are in Austin Tx and was wanting to find a nice but still family friendly restaurant to eat at for Valentines Day...we are looking for a good steak house or home style cooking that is still nice.

For a total check of about $50 a person. A place that serves a variety of stuff including chicken and steaks. We will be having dinner after my mother's wedding on a Friday evening. She wantes someplace pretty nice, with a good view, perhaps? The party is about 10 people.

I recently ate at an indian restaurant and cannot get the curry out of my mind! It was spectacular! I was wondering, if any Indians (actually from India or that heritage, if possible) could give me some recipes. I would love to know how to make Chicken Tikka Masala (Boneless chicken cooked with tomatoes and onions in a spicy creamy sauce), traditional rice, and any other cuisine you think I might like.
I really enjoyed the food, please help me out!

As a customer, what do you look for when going to a restaurant, whether it is fine dining, or a casual/fine dining restaurant. What kind of ambiance is would you preffer? Please explain with as much detail as possible. Also, what would you look for in a breakfast restaurant that would close at around noon? For those with busy schedules (work, kids, school, etc.), what would you want out of a restaurant of such style in order to accomodate to you when you can't make it during open hours?
