Every place I've checked out is super pricey and/or for 40 plus people. I just want a nice private room somewhere in Manhattan for about 10-15 people to have decent food and drinks and won't charge me for use of the room. Bonus if there is also pool or karaoke in the room. Thanks!

It's for Valentines night, Italian, Thai, even Mexican I guess, needs to be nice but not to stuffy. Live between East and West Croydon train station so tram or train link (not too long a journey) is important, price less so.

We once hosted a party of 16 people at a restaurant. My MIL gave the waitress a really hard time. Ordered a meal that the waitress TOLD her would have to be defrosted first so it would take a long time. It was cheaper and her son was paying, so Mom ordered it anyway.

Then Mom got angry, demanded her food because it was so long in coming. Lied, and told the waitress that she was diabetic and had to eat on time. Dinged against her cup with her knife to get everyone's attention, and get her food faster.

When we left the restaurant, Mom saw my hubby leave a tip (20% of the total bill for all those folks). She picked it up off the table and put it in her purse. I saw her do this, so I put another tip down from my own money.

When we got home, she gave my hubby the tip money back, and said to him, "Here is the money you forgot at the restaurant." I held out my hand, and said "I put another tip out there. You can give that to me."

See why I wasnt good enough for her son?

all these questions about fast food wow ive never heard of most of theses places taco bell burger king ect what the am i leading a sheltered life here in australia.
we have what i though was crap loads of fast food joints turns out i was wrong gees i would hate to be american i am much happier being a skinny ozzie.
please dont anybody take offence to this though i was just in awww good day everybody go and tuck into that taco bell ect dont feel to guilty about all those calories though enjoy.
