I've been to the Grenadier in Belgravia and loved it - so am looking for something with a similar feel and good pub food (i.e. fish and chips, sausage and mash etc.) Anywhere in greater london works.

I get it about twice a week by attending public meetings that have a free buffet. Slipped up the other day however at a literary meeting. Someone asked if I like the works of Shaw and I said "Yes puppet on a string was great"
Links to websites of meetings would be useful, with a meeting every day my food bill would be nil.

Glasgow has some fabulous hotels and restaurants but just in case we have overlooked some, can you suggest a really good one either in the West End or City Centre? Thanks in advance.

An American writing about having High Tea in a London market tea room complains about the price he had to pay for tea sandwiches.

I heartily concur.

Not only do I concur but this is what I`ve been screaming about for months now.

Rate cap, rent cap and lower the prices.
