fruit market and on the stall they were selling custard apples could anyone enlighten me on how they tase what u have with them or do u need to cook them i would have asked but the wee man was so busy i didnt want to annoy a busy man please help ???????

Custard apples (chirimoya in Spanish) are a fruit to eat raw.
Cut it open.
Don't eat the skin or the seeds.The inside is a vanilla colour and soft consistency like custard.
Delicious!
