I know of some pubs in the East End...
Round the back streets of Kings Cross after dark.
Round Finsbury Park after the tube shuts.
Brixton, Harlesden, Peckham.
Oxford Street or round Camdem Town late on a Friday night.
So many interesting people, do remember to say loudly that your a tourist and your carrying a lot of cash on you...
You'll meet them.

The French House bar in Soho, there are some amazing people there.
If you like rock try the Intrepid Fox.
Meet people in museums and art gallerys.
You just need to be brave, smile say hello and ask a question, make a comment.
Be brave.

the back street alleyways, there are many freindly people around there being sick and generally trying to have a good time and if you ask them politely they may even mug you.
