Resturants are where you go to relax and eat. Clubs are where you go to drink, party, dance and have fun.

That is another one of those questions that depend on where you live. I live in an area in Texas that is dry - you can't buy alcohol in stores or restaurants. In order to buy alcohol in a restaurant you must pay to be a member of the club - usually only a $1 to get around this loophole. So now it is no longer a restaurant, but a club. This applies to locally owned places as well as places like Chili's, Red Lobster, etc. So around here a restaurant is an establishment that sells food and a club is a place that sells alcohol and food as well. I believe if they don't sell any food and only alcohol that then classifies the place as a bar. Texas has weird alcohol laws and this only applies in certain areas.
