It used to be quite popular in the UK during the '50s and '60s, but you seldom see them in the supermarkets anymore.

I used to love eating rabbit pie as a small kid, how about you?

I've eaten them a few times (officially banned but easy to get hold of in Sarawak) but the taste is too salty for me. I prefer chicken egg or duck egg.

How about you?

As you may or may not know Tesco is a British company with thousand of stores across the UK and now they are spreading their wings across the world.

What I was wondering about is what kind of food they sell in the West Malaysian outlets.

Is it similar to the UK with lots of 'ready meals' (Just pop them in the microwave oven for a few minutes) or is it only fresh food they sell?

I've stayed in Parkroyal Hotel in Penang recently..as far that i'm concerned, the hotel is a 4 star hotel...but when i went to their restaurant to have dinner..i almost chocked off looking at their exorbitant food price list!!! Can you ever imagine..for a just simple Nasi Lemak, Fried Rice or Fish & Chips will cost you RM40.00 nett/each dish and RM27.00 nett for a glass of an orange juice and the portion was so 'ciput' ( little) !!! my goodness!
i can go and eat at Mandarin Oriental Hotel or Ritz Carlton with less the price from Parkroyal!! Plus the waitress looks like never been fed and always with a sour face..
It was my worst dining experience ever!

so guys..how about you..mind sharing your dark experience over dining somewhere?? Coz this will help and guide us not to choose a wrong place to spend your hard earn money

For me it's quite disappointing when I ta pow chicken rice etc and the rice is bland, tasteless and sticky. I like my rice separated, fluffy and full of flavour.
Am I too fussy? (Or choosy as the locals say)

Is it really as unhealthy as the scientists say, or is it just a harmless natural flavour enhancer?

Could you taste the difference in a meal that has Ajinomoto (Monosodium glutamate) added or not?

Malaysia, hands-down, has some of the best food in the world, available 24-7. But however delicious and tempting the spread, Malaysian food can be calorie-laden, which makes it difficult for the average Malaysian, especially when we're faced with great food at every turn.
With more Malaysians becoming more health and figure conscious, does it mean we're stuck making a choice between good food or good health?
