azayi, big plate is one of my favourite restaurant to go to with my husband whenever we go to shah alam. my husband loves the seafood pasta there and i love the mushroom soup. I've tried the lamb chop, not bad at all.
Anyhow the best steaks is at Flam's Bangsar. The best italian food will be villa danieli sheraton imperial. The best lamb cutlet if u like lamb chops is la bodega which they served as tapas.
I dont like shrooms klcc, they always screwed up my orders and the staff are rude and lazy.
Worst restaurant is victoria station. I ordered lobster thermidor, what turned up was bad quality lobster and it tasted like s.h.i.t, the prawn cocktail was tiny overboiled shrimp soaked in extremely diluted sauce, the only thing nice is the complimentary soft roll and butter.
La bodega is located in jalan telawi bangsar, and bangsar shopping centre. It is called lamb cutlet under tapas selection. It's extremely juicy and nice even though it comes without gravy. It comes in three chunky pieces in a small plate, look as if too little but surprisingly really filling.
Another place to eat lamb chop is at the Strudels in Lucky Garden bangsar, next to BCB/CIMB. If u go there, u can drop by the dvd shop opposite Anakku (not the one next to Anakku coz theres two here).. All very clear one u know. Another strudel is at bangsar shopping centre. Instead of potato wedges/chips, u can ask them for mash potatoes instead. It's really yummy.

and oh! truly agree with Poisonivy regarding Victoria station and shrooms..both are damned lousy and the foods are horrible..expensive but lousy...

bumbu bali in puchong.
its a balian style restaurant. it also have many western food cook in bali style. reasonable price, halal and big plate.
for a small eater, ask 1 dish share with 2 person.
