Our only honored culinary New Year's tradition is The Cheesecake. It holds special significance for our family because we eat it rarely otherwise. The rest of the food is different each year, but there has always been The Cheesecake. :)

I love having homemade cornbread and black-eye peas on New Year's Eve. It's supposed to bring you luck for the following year or something like that, but I just think it's delicious!
