I know this isnt a question but Im a hard working waitress who gets paid minimally per hour, I know thats not the customers fault, but no matter how old or young, cute or ugly, fat or thin, smart or ignorant your server may be, she/he is not there to attend to the every whim of of her/his customers and not getting anything in return. Waiting tables is not a public service its extremely hard and strenuous work.Ok, Ok, I know you sometimes come across a terrible server here and there, but be a decent person and put a buck on the table. If anything write him a nasty note with it and go complain to the manager.Youll probably get a free meal out of it anyway. Please just realize they are their to pay their bills and feed their families, just like we all are.I work my butt off trying to make a pleasant dining experience for my customers and most of them just dont care.Just too cheap, and some leave me bibles(no kidding) Appreciate the thought but bibles dont pay rent Comments? Feedback?

All of our friends would like to take a buddy of ours to eat the day before his wedding. What unique places are available that can give a different environment for dinner, besides like a club setting? A unique dining experience is what we're looking for.

I, obviously, am a server. I work at a relatively high-end restaurant and I spend my nights doing everything in my power to give my guests a perfect night out. They are not just out for dinner, they are out for a celebration. They are also not just spending $30-$40 a meal, it's more like $80-$100. The end result is my guests telling me what a wonderful time they had but sometimes tipping only 10-15%. I'm glad I could make their night memorable, but my landlord won't accept their compliments in place of rent. If you can't afford to tip your server, why are you going out to eat? Why not stay at home?

At my local chick-fil-a there is a double lane drive-thru system. One lane relies on the driver to pay and recieve the food. The other does the same thing with the passanger side. However, everytime I go, there are always cars with only a driver going through the passanger lane. My question is how do they do it? Do they reach drasically over the side and cause strain on themselves and the server? It baffels me :) I think its very inconsiderate.

Is there actually a restaurant in the LA area that give you hammers and you crack open crabs on this wooden table ? I know a place on the east coast like that. But I saw it in a movie and the characters were supposed to be in LA. Does it exist in SoCal or was it made up?

I have a service dog. I am curious to know what people are thinking seeing me sitting there with a four pound dog on my lap at the table at a nice restaurant. I would like your thoughts. Questions? Just ask.

My roommates 21st birthday is coming up in a couple of months and we are trying to plan a really nice weekend in New Orleans for her. We are looking for someplace classy, but moderately priced to dine.

And it goes without saying that the food must be good!

Any suggestions?

My Mom wants to go to Tavern on the Green in NYC for her 80th birthday. While I know that this was a very classy place back in the 70's and 80's - I haven't been to New york in a long time - and I don't know if it's still a high end restaurant. If you've been in the last year or so - could you rate it on a 1-10 with 10 being the highest - and tell me why? Thanks so much.
