A burger isn't a burger isn't a burger. Are you getting a double bacon cheeseburger from McDonalds or a whopper from Burger King... McDonalds over time, one can only imagine from SuperSize Me, would do some damage... A normal burger per week is probably just fine.

If you're going to eat a burger a week, you might as well make it a good one, not a crappy fast food burger. It only takes them 10 cents to make a burger at McDonalds, do you really want eat a 10 cent burger?

One of anything is not going to be the cause of your demise. Not the best pick but sometimes it can't be helped. If you do have to do that burger though why not try someplace that makes a good one, McDonald's is not it. Your weekly splurge is a burger? Find a place that can make you one that you will remember.

Hamburgers are perfectly healthy if you skip the french fries.choose onion rings and blot the onions and the dryer side of the burger with a napkin and have a diet coke an orange juice or a milk.

Here's the lowdown on fast food burgers:
Depending on the form of cooking, they will let the meat simmer in the fat, which basically carmelizes the meat with a covering of lipids instead of cooking it out, like you would on a grill. Secondly, some of the special sauces contain high fat ingredients such as salad dressing and/or mayonaise. Opt out of these if you can, especially onion rings which are usually deep fried in fat as well. The cheese they put on cheesburgers is the lowest grade commercial cheese available. It's basically fat and water pressed into a square wafer.
Combine the carmelized fat, mayonaise, and processed cheese derivative, and a 85% lean cut of ground beef picks up enough fat such that the average burger contains 1/3 of your daily fat intake. I suggest you order it dry...grilled to medium well...and opt for yogurt to get your dairy instead since the lactic acid bacteria in yogurt actually help your body.

Burgers, great. McDonalds burgers, terrible. At least get a good burger if you're going to eat one.

A burger a week should still leave you sleek,
But a burger a day is certain to play
An integral part in abusing your heart.
Clogged arteries & high cholesterol are certain to take a serious toll,
So, instead please do eat a salad, making your weekly burger more valid!
:-)

Most nutritionists recommend only eating a fast food burger once or twice per month.
Don't forget how bad the fries and soda are, too, if you eat that.

Burger a week is ok. So you need to exercise. For every burger you eat, you can run a mile to make it up.
Found a burger link...
