Ann Arbor was an interesting place in the 70's and 80's but since then it has become a greed obsessed arrogant hole. Smoking nazi clones who live to ***** about other people enjoying their lives even though in the medical research is not one single case of second hand smoke related health issues, but they will not let that stop them. The apartment communities are largely old and falling apart but the rent goes up every year and the intent is to move more snobs into town. I am happy for that because I want to watch the eventual outcome from a comfortable distance. The way people complain when a store sells out for the day on a product hey want to eat I will love to see shortages affect this town, they will eat each other. I am in the process of moving out of this hole and finding a place where the people are not so special and self important. I have lived in several other places in ly life and this is the worst by far. As for the much adored U of M I worked there and I can tell you from experience it is not exceptional except for the amount of ignorance and arrogance which go well together here. Yes Ann Arbor sucks.

Actually, women are NOT smarter or classier and WOULD do that, since on every occasion i have had to go to Hooters for lunch or dinner, i have seen women in their WITH THEIR CHILDREN. I have never seen just a father and a kid in the place, always the mother and the kids, or the whole family and the kids. HOOTERS IS NOT A CHILD FRIENDLY RESTAURANT!!! But oh yeah... didja hear about the Hooters in Troy being built and then not getting its liquor license approved? Thats a buncha garbage.

Yes...Ann Arbor has a lot of schools and a lot of young kids there but Ann Arbor has a whole lotta girlie clubs there and MORE Hush-Hush after hours clubs. Why go to Hooters when you can go some place better and much more exciting for a hamburger and a beer and see a whole lot more then a pair of fake boobs...... :)

Depends on Zoning Laws, as well as City Ordnances. Also, depends on whether or not Hooters would allow a franchise in that area, as they sometimes are not looking to develop in certain regions.

Also, could be the City of Ann Arbor blocked it, or just never had a Franchise owner in the region that wished to expand one of their restaurants into that region. Could be taxes as well...

Unfortuanely there are developers looking for a place near Briarwood Mall for a place to put their stupid Hooters...There was a story in the Ann Arbor News about it. www.mlive.com

We females should have a place called "COCKS"! But then, females are smarter and classier and would not do that!
