One day I ordered a glass of ice tea from a little truck stop cafe. They handed it to me in a large cup with a lid on it and a straw.
I went out to my truck and slowly drank it. Then I took the lid off to chew on the ice. I found a dead fly at the bottom of the cup.

Yes, my husband found one in a cup of water he left next to the bed all night, he now has a lid on his cup and I have nearly killed us both spraying surface spray everywhere and have not seen one since, maybe the word has spread to keep away from the mad woman with the surface spray, I hope so !!!

At a restaurant? Woah, you poor thing. No, I haven't. I watched a friend get served a meal with a live roach on the side of the plate, though. The waitress set it down in front of her and walked away. Whew. Breathtaking.

We had her take the plates away, ordered 2 stiff drinks, and drank them; then we insisted the whole evening be comped, and left.

I used to work in a drive in only fast food place. One day a large group of rather surley looking bikers came in. One of them ordered a Chili Dog which I made. A few minutes later there was a commotion outside. One of the bikers was in alot of distress and his friends were laughing. He came into the restrauant grabbed the manager by the shirt and demanded to know who made the chili dog he had eaten. Well since it was me I ran to the back and locked myself in the bathoom. It turned out there was half of very large bug in the chili. You can guess where the other half went. We gave him a handfull of free food coupons and he went away happy.

No, but I have found them in take out containers, and you know the straws that bars use for mixed drinks, yeah I have found them in there too. Anything in a cardboard box that gets wet brings roaches! I work in a popular restaurant too...GROSE!!!

Agh! No! When I was a kid, I was drinking out of one of those old glass Mountain Dew bottles and I drank a bee. It buzzed in my mouth and I spat it out, but I didn't get stung.

Good thing you found it before you drank out of the thing.
