I know there's a way to stop the big inviting button in the middle of the set working, so the TV can only be turned off/on from the remote...
but I can't find the instructions

My internet is working just fine, but for the past four days now I am only getting one cable station; the rest of the channels are just fuzzy.

What is wrong? Bad splitter?

we have a simple cable television in our town.
a cable from a studio is connected to the RF in (antena in) of your tv set. then the tv is outo searched and you will be able to watch the channels on the cable on your tv. In some ereas due to the long distance of the cable some tv channels are not clear. What can i buy that can boost the tv signals from the cable and make them clear.
Thanks in advance.

I recently purchased the above TV, being reassured I would have no motion problems, but when the image pans across, the objects in the background tend to stutter/flicker. Why does this happen? Is a 8ms response time not low enough? This happens with x360 digital tv and to a slightly lesser extent dvd's. Any information/recommendations are greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Ok we have this pioneer big screen about 10 yrs old but still worked wonderful with a beautiful picture. All of the sudden the video stopped working. Well we stuck it out in the garage and about a year later plugged it up just the heck of it.
It worked perfect for about 2 weeks then the Video went out again.
Can anyone tell me the problem? and if it is worth fixing?

thanks bunches....

On my T.V. before channel two is a black screen that reads "S-Video". I am wondering does this mean there has to be the red, white, and yellow plugs? The reason I am asking is because I need to know, but I am not able to see behind the T.V. and it is not as easy as moving it, so if you would please help me. Thank you.

Hello, I currently have the HD box from comcast, and i get all the HD channels (channels 803-876), but with the regular non-HD cable channels, sometimes a program will say it is in HD in the info description (for example, new Myth Busters on Discovery Channel) but when i click to view it, it will be regular crappy looking...

and YES I do have it on the correct input that I use to watch the HD channels

What can I do to watch Myth Busters in HD or any other HD program outside of channels 803 to 876?

Hope someone can help me with this - We recently moved to a house where the tv reception is absolutely awful. We can get a signal quite well at one end of the living room or in the back room, but we want to have the tv in a different place.

Is there any way of setting up a wireless link between the aerial and the tv so that we can have the tv at one end of the room and the aerial at the other with no trailing wires everywhere?

I heard that in 2009 all tv's are switching to digital, how can I find out if my tv is already ready for it? I have a 36 inch RCA with guide plus, made in 2000.

1st question: My dvd player and onyko surround sound do not have hdmi connections so what wires do I need to buy and what is the proper way to set up through cable box so I get best sound and picture.

2nd: If I buy a receiver with hdmi and a blue ray than I would only need hdmi cables right. Lastly if I buy a receiver with 1.3 hdmi I'll only need one wire running to tv.

I know these are a lot of questions. Still trying to get the hang of this. Let me know if I am way off in thinking this way. Thanks

I was moving my 27inch t.v. and I thought I had it completely unplugged but I guess not. It was somehow still connected to the wall through a co-axle cable and I accidentally ripped the co-axle connector thing out of the back of the t.v. itself. Does anyone know if this can be fixed and if so how much that might cost? Thank you! And yes I know that what I did was stupid.

I have a Desktop computer with a VGA connection and i would like to connect this computer to my LCD tv that has an HDMI connection, but no pc input... at Best Buy they only sold a DVI/HDMI connection (DVI to computer, then the other end of the DVI which is an HDMI connection into the LCD TV.. so now i am looking for a VGA to DVI converter... then i will plug in the DVI/HDMI cord from Best Buy.

I found a VGA to DVI converter on eBay.. i don't exactly understand when it says male to female or female to male.. is this the right one for me?..
