Like AETV and house flippers The same show has aired 5 times this summer through now. I'm begining to think the $55 I pay for basic cable is not worth it. I get cable from Time/Warner.

im looking for a tv magnifier, that will turn my 32inch tv into something bigger?!?

i have seen some online, but theyre not big enough. i think it was turn a 32inch into a 36inch tv. i for one would like a larger television, but havent really got the money at the moment. i was looking for a rear projection tv not so long ago, and i purchased one for £500 (52Inch) but it was never delivered and had to be refunded. anyone know of any cheap rear projection tv's??

I will be purchasing an HDTV soon, possibly a Sony (KDL40W3000/46W3000) or Samsung (LNT4065/4665) as they are both highly-rated and both 1080p's. Given the Bose system I have (321 Series II),which only shows DVD's in 480p, and the variety & cost of HDTVs to choose from, can you suggest which HDTV (brand, model & pixel count (720p or 1080p)), would work best given my Bose system capabilities? Given the difference in cost between 720p & 1080p, I don't want to spend the extra $$$ if there is little or no difference in picture or sound quality.

Unfortunately, I didn't do my homework before getting the Bose system (purchased 6 months ago using Airmiles rewards program so ditching it is not an option), as I was infatuated with simplicity of operation and small size, without checking its compatibility with today's HDTV technology. Your experience, wisdom, and advice is most appreciated.

Sincerely,
Vacillating in Vancouver

I live about 30 miles away from Cincinnati & I'm wondering how good my DTV reception would be with a standard rabbit ear antenna. Would I have to buy a new antenna? Would I have to climb on the roof & install an outdoor antenna? If there's anyone from around Cincinnati out there, PLEASE HELP ME OUT! (especially if you are east of cincinnati)

It's stupid. Just a way for the government to get more money off us. What do you think?

I have a small silver universal remote from GE, very common... I've seen it a lot of places since it's so cheap. I don't have the manual anymore and want to program it for my RCA TV. Does anyone happen to have this manual, or know of a a website where I can find the code for this particular TV?

I have an HDTV. I bought an HD antenna so that I could recieve over-the-air broadcasts of HD channels. I also own a DVD recorder. The DVD recorder however does not have an HDTV tuner built into it. Can I buy an HD Tuner to hook up to my DVD recorder that will allow me to record from these channels. I don't really care if I can record true HD. My analog channels just simply come in too fuzzy to record, and I need a better option.

I just bought a new HD DVD player and the HDMI cable. I am wanting to hook it up to my regular (non-HD) TV. Obviously there is no connection on my television to hook up this HDMI cable. So, will the HD DVD player even work if I were to hook it up to my tv (without a cable)? At this point, I'm not concerned about the HD "quality". I'm buying my HD items in pieces because I cannot afford to buy it all at once. But I have Planet Earth on HD DVD and would at least like to watch it. So, would I need another type of cable for the regular TV?

TV broadcasts are made in 1080i not 1080p, therefore, will there be any difference in picture quality in a 1080p tv? Are the extra pixels in a 1920x1080p plasma or LCD only benificial when viewing blu ray discs or does it also improve quality off tv broadcasts

I have a Sony 52XBR3 LCD TV. Any time there is a bright flash or fast motion being imaged, the screen displays smalls squares as if the display can't handle the sudden, extreme movement of the image. Is there anything that can be done to eliminate this?

I have a 10-year-old Toshiba 35" tube television. Whenever I turn it on, I only get a silver/bright white line that runs horizontally in the middle of the tube. This is the only thing that I currently see whenever I turn it on. Previously, it would work fine for a few days and then out of nowhere, the silver line would appear and all tv watching would cease. Now that is all that I get.

Is this a simple fix, or would it be less expensive to purchase a new one.

Thanks and take care!

About a month or more ago our TV ramdomly decided not to turn on. Everything else on its strip worked. A couple hours later just for the fun of it I tried and it turned on. Then a couple days later it did the same thing where it wouldn't turn on then later it would turn on. Well any way on any given day you do not know what you are going to get or how long it will not work. It went a whole week working without a glitch a couple weeks back. However now you shut it off and you do not no when you will be able to get it back on. We cannot even turn it on from the tv its self. You can push the button but it does nothing, no click, picture or sound. The TV is a bit older (over 10) so we know we need a new one but it is not in our finances right now. I was wondering if anyone could tell us what might be causing our tv to go on vacation (what we say when it does not want to work) Sometimes it is off for over a day before it will turn back on. It never shuts its self off.

Is it true that TV does not broadcast at 1080p, therefore watching TV programs on a 1080p LCD or Plasma TV doesn't really give you a better picture than those sets having 720p?

A large, fancy, wide screen TV was moved from a house that had DirectTV, to a house with cable TV. Most channels are fine, however, some channels do not have sound.

I have tried "adding" the channels, changing menu settings, etc., but nothing works.

PLEASE HELP!!!!
