Like AETV and house flippers The same show has aired 5 times this summer through now. I'm begining to think the $55 I pay for basic cable is not worth it. I get cable from Time/Warner.

for some reason many cable networks find the need to repeat things million times.
saves them money on programming

The cable stations don't get money from the cable companies unless it's like HBO or Showtime. Cable stations don't make as much money as the major networks, so they can afford fewer shows and fewer episodes of each show. The cable stations are betting that many people are watching something else when it first airs and gives the viewers a chance to watch it when it's most convenient.
