1920x1080, is the biggest standard size at the moment, don't be fooled though, a smaller 30" TV could have the same amount of pixels as a 64". Though it could be a better resolution, check before you buy.

It depends on technology being used and its native resolution.
Most likely 1280x720 (Many DLPs use dithering technology to display 1080p).
Check the specs for your TV.

It should say on the TV packaging somewhere... the resolution differs between brands.
