On my T.V. before channel two is a black screen that reads "S-Video". I am wondering does this mean there has to be the red, white, and yellow plugs? The reason I am asking is because I need to know, but I am not able to see behind the T.V. and it is not as easy as moving it, so if you would please help me. Thank you.

I'm 99 % sure that it has the the red, white, and yellow jacks.

The S-video connector is a larger round connector that is used for video, just like a smaller yellow plug. S-video gives a little better signal quality than the yellow "composite" plug.

All the TVs that I've seen that had a s-video jack also had the yellow jack.

The red & white jacks are for sound.
