I recently purchased the above TV, being reassured I would have no motion problems, but when the image pans across, the objects in the background tend to stutter/flicker. Why does this happen? Is a 8ms response time not low enough? This happens with x360 digital tv and to a slightly lesser extent dvd's. Any information/recommendations are greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I bought a Samsung HDTV and was assured of many things. One of these assurances was that it was an excellent product, as good or better than a Sony. Major lies. Junk. Junk. I am stupid. If you can, take it back.
