black friday - everything is on sale and sometimes even before 12pm - I know some stores change the time but black friday is the time to go great big discounts and even some no name brands that you never heard of which are also pretty cool as well

Just find them cheap online, and get the store to match the price. Most will, and some will even beat the online price.
Black friday is also good. But the first suggestion i made is always good.

If you dont already have HD service and wait for the rush after Christmass - you will likely have a great HDTV - with crappy standard def service while you wait 2 months for an appointment/HD cable box to become available.
Get it now and get HD service so you can enjoy all the great HD programming over the holidays.
