I had accidently pressed "Call ***-***-****" and it dialed the number then I realized it and hung up immediatly. It didn't even ring. Will it show up on my bill? When I went to call history it did show the number I accidently called.

I bought TruTech DVD player and it broke after using it 4 times. There are lots of complaints about these products on line. And it seems Target is doing nothing except adhering to the 90 day return policy even though they are more than aware of the abnormally high failure rate.
Anyone else have any problems. Any direct line (NOT 800 numbers) to call corporate headquarters in MN?

Can I play my regular DVDs on a HDDVD player?

If so does it improve the picture quality of normal DVDs on a HDTV?

At the moment I'm using a normal DVD player with a HDTV and the DVDs don't look as good as they did on my old TV.

I am supposed to be doing research for my brother this morning while he is at work. He wants to buy a gift, a GPS system, this holiday season. His choices consist of:
TomTom Xl-S AND
Garmin Nuvi 260 (OR, the 300c)

Between TomTom and Garmin which is a more preferable company to choose from? Which tends to have more complications? Moreover, which is my brother to be more satified with? Between the two Garmin devices which is the more adequate of the two? Please list any common complications with both and any additional information that may persuade me to one device over the other. Thanks.

It was 4 years ago, when I lived at the other house, and when I was about to heat somethin in, I press 1:00 but nothing appeared, I pressed a couple of different buttons and nothin happened except the sounds of every press, I thought it was broken, then suddenly I saw "CHILDREN" in the microwave text bar I was really freaked out, I remember it still 2day and this is the first time i ask it. What do you think could this mean??

My microwave was haunted?
Was it designed to say children? Please get ur thoughts out...

There's a sports bar next to our store, and their music (obviously) needs to be loud. We asked them to lower the volume, and they agreed to put it lower. We're currently trying to figure out how we can make this work. The wall is very thin and we hear loud bass all day.

I was wondering if sound absorbers help if they put them on the wall. (With the bass and everything)

If not, are there any suggestions?

I want nothing to do with digital audio. All my equipment is top-quality vacuum-tube stuff from the sixties, and I think the quality of sound reproduction is superb. I firmly believe that good vinyl played on excellent analog equipment is far superior to anything digital. I have never owned a CD player and have only a vague idea of what an iPod is. Friends say I 'm a little nuts. Am I?

carry a taser if you were moving (for the first time) to the 7th most dangerous city in the US? I'm moving next month, and I've never lived away from home, so I'm thinking of getting a taser. Do any of you ladies already have one? If so, what are some tips for effectively using one?

Hi, I am looking for a cord/adapter that will take the red and white audio cables found on a video console, for example, and converts it to "Audio In," which is in the shape of a headphone jack. If you know of any cables that do this, or you need more information, please comment/answer. Thanks!
