carry a taser if you were moving (for the first time) to the 7th most dangerous city in the US? I'm moving next month, and I've never lived away from home, so I'm thinking of getting a taser. Do any of you ladies already have one? If so, what are some tips for effectively using one?

Wouldn't mind carrying the tazer, ( I carry a Gun)
But moving to a city with a supposedly high crime rate is miss leading...It depends on the neighborhood.. I live in the city with the second highest murder rate in the country........I feel perfectly safe... but I'm smart enough to not go to certain places......

I had a taser for a while! The only inconvienance of it is that you cant take it into every b uilding, goverment ones for instance. Other than that, the only problem i ever had, were that my drunk friends loved it! although i imagine it would depend on the style, be careful putting it in your purse.

i would not carry a taser with me. no way.
