I bought a bass amp off of ebay and a girl shipped it to me without a box. She says she taped the power cable to the top but I did not receive it. I asked her to refund $20 for a new one, but she says that it's not her responsibility. Any suggestions?

I learned that rechargable batteries have memory effect.
then,
can I discharge AA batteries to zero volt and recharge them?

If I use flashlight or shaver to discharge AA batteries, I would fail soon. Because flashlight or shaver would NOT function any more at less than 1.1V each?

So, I would have to recharge them at 1.1V?

Do you just type in where you want to go?

Does the system know where you are at?

How does it work?

If you can download them can you download foreign maps in other countries? how many kb does it usually use for a length of 10 minutes, and does it recognize where you are by tower communication or do you set where you are and your path first?

I have an old console record player and am/fm radio combination. I think its from the 1950's. The cereal number has been worn off of the bottom. Its a micromatic magnovox with stereophonic high fidelity. That is pretty much all of the identifying markers it has. It has worked beautifuly for the 3 years I have had it until now. Could moving it to our new house have caused the problems? The problem is when I put the needle down on the record there isn't any sound. My husband put a coin on the head of the needle, it played but the music sounded distorted. Is this something that can be fixed? If so where do I go to get it fixed? Also, how do I know if the repair person is knowledgable or taking me for a ride?

Batteries for cordless tools seem to work well for a while, then soon don't hold a charge well. I have heard there is a way to rejuvenate these so that they perform more like new, but don't know how it is done.

Leaning toward Sharp and Amana. Would like to stay under $300, with a small to medium footprint and minimum 900 watts. Is the convection feature even worth it? I have an oven -- just don't like it. Uncomplicated operation would be great. Any info or ideas welcomed. Thanks.
