I can only load one dvd at a time for play. Any suggestions would be helpful.

I own a "Sony", 5 disc dvd player. And I have a remote that has a button to turn the tray for loading.

1) The wrong remote must have been packed in the package.

2). Take back your sales receipt if you have one or just take the remote back to where you purchased the "Sony", and request a remote that has a button to turn the tray.

3) I have seen "Sony", systems where you can only turn the tray with a button that is built into the face of the system and not on the remote. Check out the face of your system to see if there is a button to turn your tray. (Even this is not great, because you must get up if you decide you want to hear a different disk, instead of being able to use your remote.

Otherwise your system in my opinon is a waste of money. You need to be able to install 5 CD's into your tray and that requires the ability to have a remote to turn the tray.

It must. It just has numbers of course. You press a key something like "load" and then click what number the disc is loaded into.
