I am ordered two yamaha reference speakers that have xlr and 1/4" inputs. What card should I get?

I know I need to get a pro card, I just don't know which one or brand to look at. I'm looking for one under $300. Thanks,

nothing, no card. you dont need a pro card.... that is unless your computer has no sound at all right now....

get a $2 1/4 to 1/8th inch adapter.

then you'll go directly from speaker to computer
