Here is the situation. I live a mile from a major U.S. highway, yet I cannot get a Broadband connection. Yes it is kind of in the country, but should that actually matter? We deal with Verizon, whom does our dialup connection, but it is terrible at best. Verizon does not offer DSL for our location. Hughes net is too expensive, so that is not the answer. Am I stuck with dialup until I move? What is the best way to deal with this problem? If Verizon can't service us, does that mean other phone companies cannot?
