I need to call this number and don't know what to dial to reach italy from UK! +39 0331 924244

I´ll soon move into a flat in the UK which has a dead BT landline. When I requested to have the line reactivated I was asked to comit to an 18 month contract. What are my alternatives?? With the liberalisation of the phone market I may want to have my calls with another operator, but the landline must always be with BT?? So why force me into 18months with them??

I´m a bit out of touch with UK market for phone services so any advice or insight appreciated.

Cheers,
Chris

What is the grand total bill for vonage phone service after taxes and fees. Anyone from the San Antonio TX area with a bill on the 24 dollar unlimited plan would really help the most with this question.

Our cordless phone has a range of about 100 metres, which is less than the distance to the next house out here in rural NZ. But if we lived in a block of flats in a city, isn't there a possibility that our next door neighbour's cordless could have the same frequency as ours?

Okay, say my area code is 234. I'm trying to dial 555-3215, Sal's Pizza shop.

I accidentially dial (234)555-3215 because I am from out of town and am used to having to use the area code when making calls to this area.

Why does the automatic message from the operator come up saying that I do not need the area code?!

Yes, I understand that I do not need it because I am in that area code, but why can't it complete the call anyway? It's pretty frustrating.

Not a big deal, just a question I have.

Especially with the Airtel network expanding it is difficult to attend to all calls while in international roaming. Indirectly it is a loss of revenue to Airtel from those on international roaming. Once cannot experiment receiving all calls and also miss out on very important calls.

I wanted to know how hard it is to replace a telephone microphone (in the handset where people talk into) with another new microphone? I searched the web and cant find any info on this subject? Is it complicated or just a matter of unscrewing it and putting a new one in its place? And where can I buy telephone microphones?

Yesterday at exactly this time (16:46) we got a call that as soon as you pick it up it clicks a few timnes and goes off, then the empty line buzz goes. The number on 1471 started 0845 which I think is a company phone.

Tonight the same happened, same time but withheld number,

Any idea how or what I should do if it happens again? or am I over reacting?

Hi Folks,
I am fed up with 02071 921100 calling me asking for personal details. I could wring their neck if I could find out where they are hiding.
BT can't track it, I have tried allsorts of telecomms tricks, but the pesterers are invisible down a 'phone line.
If you try said number, and find out where they are, and who they are, I shall jump on the train, and jump on them in our behalf.
