So I recently had a terriable experience with Vonage. After spending an hour on the phone with them, being transferred to five different departments, as well as five useless people -- I decided to stay. Still, my Vonage phone doesn't work and I can't set the thing up for the life of me. I follow the directions -- I talk to tech support and its a big no go!
So a week or two later I try and cancel again, since I keep paying for something that is not working. They won't let you quit. They try the redirecting me a hundred times and finally I cuss and say just terminate my service already -- charge me the friggin 40 dollar termination fee. Then he comes back and says they're going to charge me $90 on top. *Sigh* Needless to say -- I'm not happy.

I want to warn you all that Vonage has the worst customer service and they'll charge you too much money to cancel.

After googling Vonage, I read hundreds of complaints on the same thing -- plus their service is bad. I wish I had read these prior to ordering the stupid thing. Heed my warning -- do not get Vonage! It is not worth it -- trust me!

That's all!
Kiss my *** Vonage!

Sometimes I can hear the people talking but they can't hear me back, or pick up and there is no dial tone. The dial tone comes back after several minutes. Why is this, and how can I remedy this!
Thanks

My friend told me there was an online website that would allow disabled people to type something (in place of calling someone) and the company would call and deliver the message. This was designed for disabled persons so they can still carry on a conversation.

My wife is on bedrest during her pregnancy. I would like to take two phones, hook them together, and have them to where I can speak to her, sort of a cheap intercom system. I know that I just need to wire the two together with phone cord to have them to where I can speak to her, but how do I get them to ring? Any ideas?

At work we just got a new phone system. Six of our phones we opted to have a cordless headset attachment. Each of these have a base (which the cordless headset recharges on), and these bases attach to each of our phones. With the base attached, we get this humming/buzzing noise like there's electrical or perhaps radio interference (it sounds electrical to me), and it's bad enough to discourage us from using the cordless devices.

The phone company that installed the system has been attentive to the problem, but they can't seem to figure it out either. They said that they've never run across this problem with the cordless headsets before.

They've suggested that we purchase some devices called RF filters. They said they look like little coils that fit around the telephone cord where the phone attaches to the cordless base. I can't seem to find any of these. Perhaps I'm not searching for it under the correct name?

I'd be grateful for any suggestions or links. Thank you.
