've been out all day and my phone has been disconnected. How can I check and see if I have any new BT SMS text messages without waiting for them to ring up? is there a number for the uk? thanks

if anyone who work for a phone can verify wheater if it true or not I know a lot of people had been forwarding to everyone about the area code 809 phone compaines said they are not going to help becuase is consider to be from the british virgin island foriegn country. I remember my ex roommate was telling me the same thing when he working for a phone company 7 years ago. let me know if it true or not. thank you Matt

i have a relative that its station in belgium and some of her friends got vonage as phone company and internet service . i called vonage toget info and they told me a ineeded a internet service so the phone can work well the internet company in belgium (belgiumcom) give u internet but u have to get a phone like as well does anybody know if this is true? i mean her friend dont have a internet provided just vonage
would it work if she gets it and just plug it in even tho she doesnt have an internet provider??

I need to make a private call on my land line that wont show up on the phone bill, as my room mate is the one that pays it and frankly, I don't want to have to face unwanted questions. It's a complicated situation. If a but a prepaid phone card and use it, will it show up on the bill? Also, will my number still be blocked?

I have done this before but I am having difficulty doing it today.... I want to leave someone a voicemail but I don't want to call them and give them the opportunity to answer the phone. I want to just get their voicemail and leave a message. I have done this before by calling my voicemail, then pressing the button to "send" then typing the phone number (and I forget if I dial 1, hit pound, or anything else special).... please help and tell me step by step how to accomplish this objective... thanks!

Right now I have Broadband, TiVo, and a satellite for my TV. I'm technically ignorant and I know that all these things seem to be inter-connected. How easy will the Vonage installation be for me? They claim that it simply involves hooking an adapter into my Broadband modem. But won't I need to make some other changes related to the satellite and TiVo????

I want to get a fax machine but not really sure how they work.. I tried to do some research but couldn't find out anything.. i don't want to use my computer as one so if i just buy one, & just connect it to my phone line, will it work with the same phone number i have now? I have AT&T in central California. Does anyone know if AT&T will charge you? and how much? And any other things i should know about a fax machine..?
