This number is for real. It's part of a NIN (Nine Inch Nails) publicity stunt for their new album "Year Zero".
The phone number came from an MP3 of static that was on a USB flash drive found in a washroom stall at one of NIN's concerts in Barcelona, Spain. There was also an MP3 of the track "Me, I'm Not" The static track when played through a spectrogram (like the one in Cool Edit Pro) prints out a phone number, 1-216-333-1810 and that's the story behind this number.
