The only answer I received was terrible.
Using a calling card would never suffice. Is there someone out there who might be able to answer this question? Preferably someone over the age of 50.

i've worked for the RBOC and for a few CLECs I have never heard anyone mention the term.. and I have never seen that type of circuit on any of the outside plant. I am not even sure if this ancient technology would even be compatible with the switches, and soft switches being used in the central offices. to add to that, if your area has been upgraded to fiber, then i think your chances are even lower finding a line that would even be compatible... If you are intrested in learning, and or using morse code to communicate, I suggest looking into getting an amature radio licence, as CW is still part of there culture, and as a matter of fact is required for the higher licences...
