Is it the maximum focal length of the lens being used? Say for a 17-55mm lens, what is the minimum shutter speed necessary to handhold? 1/55 of a second?

I have several rolls of 35mm film, some of which I know have been shot and rewound and the others not yet used. I have been told that if I compare the length of the leaders that I can tell which of the rolls are shot and used and which are not yet used. As I recall if I compare 2 rolls, the roll with the short lead is the unused roll and the one with the longer lead (approximately an inch or so longer) is the one that has been shot and rewound. Is that logical (as Spock would appreciate)?

I know an adapter existed, but Mamiya has not made a 35mm camera in over 20 years, so accessories for them are very hard to find.

For me Kodak hasn't been that great in that they break easily and the ones that I have gotten at least didn't have very good features like manual settings where you can pick f-stop and aperture. What brand would you strongly recommend and is there a site that reviews cameras and their features. Lastly is there a good site that has good deals. I want to get a camera that has at least 10x optical zoom and some manual settings.

I discovered clips of my bf with another woman. He says that they were taken many years ago. However, when I checked the metadata of the quicktime clip using exiftool software, it says the date of creation was very recent.

He claims that he had found the clips on his computer, and had transferred it to his Panasonic Lumix camera for safekeeping. He then transferred it back to another computer, and therefore this process has changed the metadata of the clip. Also i noticed that the naming of the quicktime movie clip is very similar to those of pictures that we had recently taken with the camera.

Since I do not have the camera with me, I cannot test out if this is possible. Please can some kind soul try out for me to find out if metadata of a quicktime movie can really be changed this way? Please help me replicate the process, u can download exiftool here (http://www.sno.phy.queensu.ca/~phil/exiftool/)

Thank you so much in advanced!

There has to be something I'm missing -- I researched this camera SO diligently before purchasing it, but I am so afraid to take it to any event of which I want pictures! Every picture I take comes out so shaky and blurry -- is there an internal stabilizer setting that I'm missing? Every user review that I read expressed nothing but good things, and I am so dissatisfied.. What memo did I not receive?

What does DSLR mean? I am getting myself a digital camera and really looking for something that will take more than good pictures. I want a camera that when I am 75 years old will still be able to take good pictures.
I have two Minolta lenses a 35 - 70 and a 75 - 300mm, will the quality be affected by the fact that I am not using a Sony lens. I know that Sony got all the technology from Minolta when they bought it from Minolta, that is why the lenses fit, but I am curious to know if it will make a difference.
Thanx for the help, much appreciate.
