i have a minolta x700, i took a photo class in high school which i don't remember too much of. can anyone, in a simple easy to understand way, explain to me about f-stops, aperture, and anything that will get me going. i know that there is some sort of chart and what not that goes along with f-stops and whatnot, can anyone just give me some easy answers as to how these things work? thanks.

I would prefer an extremly inexpensive one, but anything will be appreciated. I would like it to be able to hook up to another Television screen also.

Thank you.

I have a Fujifilm Finepix S6500fd Camera and have a memory card installed. However I cannot find anywhere to tell me how to safetly remove the card from the camera. The last time I just took it out it corrupted all of the pics on it. I have reformatted the card but now have new pics which I cannot remove by uploading onto the PC at present as I am on holiday and need to change the card for an empty one. Help!

Has anyone tried the Energizer Lithium AA Battery for their digital camera. Did they really last longer than the regular AA battery. Just want to know before I buy, they are rather expensive. What about the rechargable batteries, any thoughts on them? I'm tired of my camera eating other batteries. I have a Canon A540. Thanks.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a 'good' camera that takes very clear, 'as your eye sees it' photos, can be set to a shutter speed that makes it difficult to get a blurry photo, and has a zoom that isn't terribly grainy?

I want to be able to take good pictures when I go this year. Hopefully I'll either have floors seats or the middle section of the arena at the highest. I'd like to know if the d40x would be able to keep up with the wrestlers. I plan on using a AF-S DX VR Zoom-NIKKOR 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G IF-ED lense if that makes a difference.

(I'm just starting to get into photography so I don't know that much about frame rates, lenses and etc.. That's why I'm getting the d40x, I've read that it's a perfect camera for beginners.)

My absolute maximum budget is 1,000. I shoot lots of photos of dogs, as I work at a boarding kennel. They are almost always moving. I also enjoy pictures of landscapes, and will do some sport photography as well. I have researched the Panasonic DMCFZ50, Cannon Powershot S5-IS, Sony Cybershot DSC-H9, Olympus Evolt E-500 and the Cannon Rebel-XTI. Any ideas on these or other models would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Was conned into buying Fashion Fujioptics FF-225 Digital Camera in Tenerife. Battery dropped out and I have not been able to find a compatible battery on internet? Does anyone have one of these cameras and would be so kind as to tell me the exact battery model? All it says on box is rechargeable li-ion battery, I may have to resort to going back to Tenerife and getting one there! Or getting my money back!!!!!

OK- Let's say I have 190 photos on cd/dvd drive and put them on dvd that holds a lot more because of it's memory, do I have to save up say 500 photos on dvd drive before I can transfer them to dvd? Isn't using dvd/rw
a drawback in some ways? It used to be in audio that recording on cd/rw could only be played on that machine.

Bought this desk top computer and whether it be the old lap top or this, this is what happens.
Connect camera to computer, and it goes to either Fuji or sony software viewer AND the Wizzard. I use Wizzard and move photos to cd/dvd drive. Once photos are moved to say a cd it's over and cd ejects. So if I want more photos on cd I have to start another cd? Or can I somehow open up the cd and add more?

Would infrared light shined at digital cameras or regular 35mm film cameras affect the final picture outcome? I mean I'm sure it would affect the digital, but I'm not so sure about 35mm film.

Hello everybody out there, mates, people brothers, fellas and especially to the photographers out there.

I want to ask on how to enhance the image quality that my digital camera produce and if you can show me the exact directions on how to do it..

My digi cam is Olympus M700 (lit's not letter M, it's a greek word if I'm not mistaken it's pronounce as "myu") I will be very glad if I met someone who has the same camera and tell me his/her experience on the camera because for me this camera is what we say.....a CRAP!!!
