I have owned my Nikon D40 for a few months but the zoom which is on the standard lens is not very good and it also does not allow me to manual focus. I have researched lenses but they are all so expensive! Is there a nice one that is not too much money?

I recently used my Nikon D40x digital slr camera to take some photos of the full moon with a 200mm telephoto. After that experience, I am interested in purchasing a telescope that I can use along with my Nikon D40x to take even better photos of the moon and other night sky bodies. Can anyone recommend a good telescope that would be good for this purpose. I would prefer to spend well under $1000 for any telescope and gear. Thanks.

I need to take photos of products for a consumer website, and would like to know the best way I can do this at home with no shadow and minimal reflection on the curvature. Is there a way to do without spending $ on photography lamps and set ups? I use a Fuji Finepix S7000.

I have a Kodak camera that works great, except in concert settings. I can't get vibrant pictures without turning off the flash, and then I can't keep the camera steady enough to get clear shots. I was at a concert recently where two different people were getting great shots, one from far back ... one from up close. And they both had Sony cameras. I know for distance shots, zoom would be important. Any reasonably priced digital cameras recommended for the lighting situation of a concert?

I accidentally had my film speed set to 400 instead of 100 on my Nikon camera. Will that mess up my pictures?

... a "do it yourself" project? Don't they realize there is the potential for severe electrical shock if the capacitor that charges the flash is discharged? I'll bet a dollar to a donut that every Owner's Manual has a WARNING! about this. Yet time after time someone says "Open it up and try to fix it."
