I would prefer an extremly inexpensive one, but anything will be appreciated. I would like it to be able to hook up to another Television screen also.

Thank you.

The FujiFilm FinePix S3 PRO UVIR. About $1,800.00, it was reviewed in the January 2007 issue of Shutterbug Magazine. You can find it at shutterbug.com

I'd like to clarify the first two posts. The UVIR sees near infrared, which is similar to visible light. A thermal camera see far infrared. The second poster is correct that they're very expensive. I did a google search for "cheap thermal camera" and got a result bragging about one that costs under $3000. The cast is that the resolution (160x120) is far worse than VHS.

Check eBay under "thermal imaging camera." There are no "inexpensive" thermal imaging cameras. They cost thousands of dollars, even for used ones.

Thermal imaging cameras are not the same as photographing with infrared light. Thermal imaging cameras actually look at heat, while IR cameras look at the infrared, light wavelengths just past the visible red.
