Want to take pics at an outdoor concert and need something that will give good pics from far away.

You want a camera with at least 5 or more Optical Zoom. 10 is great. The Digital Zoom is not too important. Kodak makes nice cameras at a reasonable price. Nokia, Samsung etc. they are all good.

the higher the better but definitely something more than 5x (10x is pretty good). unforunately for that you need to shell out at least twice as much as a camera with 5x. my best recommendation is to get a digital camcorder. the pictures are not as great (but still really really good) but you get crazy zoom and you can shoot longer videos.

well a kodak ditial camera sold at walmart is good for a concert you can change the zoom and the color setting and the flash and everything i hope you get it it works great!

I have a nikkon quick pct. $100 and zoom very good little camera. like it
