I took it to a pawn shop and they only offered 25 dollars for the Canon AE1 plus a telephoto lens, macro lens, flash, unused replacement battery, and even a roll of film.
I have a digital now, and see why 35mm is obsolete for most people, but is no one interested in them anymore? I could just give it away to a university art student that I know.

I'm an orthodontist and I would like to have recommendations on the best brands/models of digicams that can take sharp and detailed pictures of teeth or any structures inside the mouth. I'm not really a professional photographer, so I prefer "user-friendly" cameras that can meet my above-mentioned needs. Thanks

I have just bought a secondhand digital camera, and while i have tons of AAA batteries varying from 300mAh-650mAh, none of them seen to power the camera properly. Sometimes i'm able to take a few photo's but not work the flash facility.
I've finally found the instruction manual at it states the camera needs 2.3V batteries. What is this in mAh?? and would t make my cam work properly?
Thanks

So to make this explanation short, I turned on my camera to look through pictures and I couldn't because there was a "Memory Card Error". I don't know what happened and I need to fix it fast if there's any way

I have a keychain camera and was wondering how you capture videos while the camera is plugged into the computer on MyCam, so it would work sort-of like a webcam?

thanks for the answers! :>)

Is it true that when you take pictures with a digital camera that the lighting is different than where you're taking the picture at? I mean, whenever I look in the mirror before I take a pic, my face always looks darker, tanner than wheras in the picture it looks pale and not tan. I don't know what it is, but I don't like it. Is there some way I can change the lighting on the camera?

Thanks in advance! : )

I will be using it for an beginner level photo class. Something that can take sharp, crips photos and I will be able to grow with. Any makes or models would be most helpful. I've considered digital, but I'd like to wet my feet the old-fashioned way.

I just got the Sony Cybershot DSC-W80 and I'm happy with it, except the shutter time is really slow...like 2 seconds. I don't understand why, because it's supposed to have such great speed. How do I adjust this?

I am looking to purchase a professional SLR film camera off ebay to replace my Nikon N65 (that was stolen on a trip). I really like shooting black and white on film (even though I know film is obsolete). I figured since film cameras are so cheap now... I could probably afford to get a very nice one for really cheap. I am not partial to any particular brand.. What camera (and type of lens) should I get? What types of lenses should I stay away from.

Is there a better camera than a Nikon N65 that would make sense for me to get because the price is just as cheap?

Thanks,
Scott

Hello everyone! I have a Sony Cybershot DSCP200 7.2MP Digital Camera 3x Optical Zoom. I really had no need for until I had my trip to Disney in Florida. Then I found my self switching back and forth picture mode and messing around with the options. So many pictures modes. I was not sure on how to set up each picture mode. This Sony Cybershot takes great pictures but I just can’t take perfect ones every time because how its well how I have it set up.

Can anyone please let me know what options to have for each picture mode please?

I am sure some one has experienced this situation:
After an all day event the following day I realized that two of the batteries has melted or the battery acid came out. I put new batteries but now my flash won't even turn on! SO I was wondering can I take it and get it fixed or cleaned? Or am I going to have to buy another one? Or would i just have to buy a new cartridge where it holds that extra battery?

Hello fellow Canon users. I just got my digital rebel XTi and it takes wonderful pictures but I am trying to figure out which settings I need to play with to get everything in focus. So far, it focuses on the main subject, and everything else in the background is blurry. How do I make it where the subject and everything in the background is in focus?

So far the only way I have figured out how to do this is in landscape mode, but you can't use flash in landscape mode and I would like my indoor pictures to have everything in focus as well.

I have shot on the "green box" mode and also use the "P" mode but neither one of those modes accomplishes what I want.

Thanks much for your help =)

I have a sanyo5.0 mega-pixel camera and it totally sucks when it comes to taking pictures at concerts and what not. When I take videos with it, it's good and the sound isn't bad. But when I am at shows and try to take photos, it never comes out clear, it takes forever to 'adjust/zoom' in correctly, and it totally sucks. What kind of digital camera can I get that's not too big, has good zoom/adjustments, comes out clear, is good with fast moving objects(or people) and good with light(stage lights)?

I really want/need a new camera because this camera is screwing up all of my lovely memories.

Thank you!

I just got it yesterday and noticed when I was taking a photo of the streetlamp at night that there is one hot pixel in the upper right hand corner. Seriously, do I send it back and wait the month or so before I get a replacement? No, we don't have any electronics stores anywhere near me so taking it to one is out of the question. I live on an island and we ship things to and from the real world.
