I dropped my camera, and it broke. The screen turned all white, and some of the pictures are half white, and the other half is the picture, is there any way I can fix it? Does anyone know how or who I can get to help me? Thanks

I took my digital camera to the beach and it accidently got covered in sand..there is now sand in the lens, and the shutter won't close! the battery still works but I want to know if there is any point in taking this to a camera repair, or will that cost more than buying a new one?

I saw it advertised on a commercial yesterday on a commercial for one of our colleges. I went to the web site and it said it's a 36 month degree!!

WTFreak. That doesn't make sense. It also said it'd be a bachelor of science degree, so again I have to say WTFreak.

I figured it'd be an 8-12 month course, like massage therapy, since it's so specialized.

Anyone have a digital photography degree have any insight?

I am looking for a 35mm camera (preferably with a zoom but not necessary) but it has to be extremely "easy to load and use"!!! I bought an old Minolta yesterday from a thrift store but I am having the darndest time trying to load the film. The camera doesn't have to be new or anything fancy. A used camera is fine.Older models are ok as well. Not looking to spend a lot of money. I am not too much of a camera person so as I mentioned, it has to be really easy to load and use (point and shoot). Any suggestions?

I just mean the point-and-shoot ones, like the SD series.

I was thinking about getting the SD1000 but I don't want to get it right when they're coming out with a new model.

Are they really the same? V-Lux 1 is $500 more than DMC-FZ50, can some professionals tell me if this is a rip off?

Thanks...

Hi,
I aleardy have a Nikon camera with 4 mega pixel, 3x optical zoom. However, I cant get good picture in a concert or video recording. So I am looking for a high optical zoom camera like Song DSC 800. It comes in 8.1 mega pixel, 6x optical zoom, 12x digital zoom but its limitation is that it is using Sony lens rather than Carl Zeiss. Can anyone tell me is it good?

The tel no. for Polaroid (UK) would also do as a last alternative but would idealy prefer a suitable adapter model no. instead so i can check out the cheapest prices.
Thanks in advance

I have bought this 12MP sony w200 camera. I know, 12MP isn't everything, but I wanted to get the most out of it. Its features, what it can do, what I can do about it. Is there any setting to change on every environment you would like to take pictures with?

I will be delighted if you could give me tips..thanks.

I have a Nikon D40 camera and with all cameras I have owned, it's hard to take photos in a gym. Still photos are fine, as long as I am close to the subject, but action shots are hard to get no matter if I'm close or far away. With or without the flash, gymnasiums are hard to take photos in.

I am very happy with my XTi/400D. am trying to use an old non-digital flash (Minolta 360PX) on the camera.

Anybody have suggestions on how to set the camera and the flash?

The XTi manual (page 152 in the Canadian manual) says that it can synchronize non-Canon flash units at 1/200 or slower.

I set the camera to Tv mode at 1/200, but I don't know what to set the MInolta flash unit to. It's got several modes: TTL (doesn't work at all), M (works sort of) and 3 levels of Auto. PLUS it's got dials and scales for Film Speed, Distance, Flash Coverage, Apeture -- whew!

Anybody have any suggestion on what the settings should be on the camera and on the flash?

I saw a digital camera that is on sale this week only at http://www.ritzcamera.com
I'm planning to buy it from the site, so I want to make sure they sell new cameras before I do it.
By the way, is it a trustworthy website?

The other day my camera was being glitchy (it kept telling me to turn it on & off again) and because I am a normal person, I thought hitting it would be a good idea. Except this time, I smashed it down on my lap while the lens was still out and now it won't zoom correctly. To get it to work as if it were at 1x zoom, I have to zoom it up to 3x and manually turn the lens out myself. If I go back to 1x, the lens goes in completely like it would when turned off. Anything between the two is extremely blurry. I've only had this camera for a year and my dad is going to get mad if I tell him I broke it, is there any way to fix it WITHOUT having to return it for repairs?
