Which camera is best for tourism, I love traveling so I want the pictures to be great quality but I don't want a huge professional camera.

My budget is anything under $350.

I have a Nikon SLR film camera, but am wondering if I shouldn't get a pocket digital camera (around 5 megapixels) with a decent zoom on it. Would the pocket digital camera give me as good pictures as the film SLR?

This only recently began happenning and I have no clue why- When I put my memory card in my computer and try to view the photos I get an error message that says "The disk cannot be written to because it is write protected. Please remove the write protection from the volume in drive /Device/Harddisk1/DR2" sometimes it's DR4 or DR6. I've tried messing with the lock on my memory card but it doesn't seem to do anything. How can I fix this and why is it happenning?

My husband and I picked up an old camera at a yard sale a week ago. We haven't had a lot of luck finding information online about it. We're trying to find a value and some history on it. It's a military camera (U.S. Army Air Corps) in it's original army-issued wooden box. The side plate states "G.S.A.P Camera, 16 mm, 24 volts". Any thoughts?

I am taking a Digital Photography class in college and need to buy a digital camera. Under $200 would be good because my parents are paying for it and they are paying for all of my educational expenses.

Whioh models are good--SONY, etc?
Give the exact model dates and put up LINKS for cameras on sale at certain stores. Thanks.

I wanted to take a photo with all my friends, so I put it on my TV. Just when it took the photo it dropped to the floor. It took more pictures, then i turned it off and then on again. It started with the brand name, as usual, then the screen went all white. I thought it was a battery error, so I charged it. It still doesn't work.

Hi! I was reading on wikipedia's 'Digital Photography' page and read that the dynamic range of digital pictures is usually worse than on film, except for if you use Fuji's new 4th generation Super CCD cameras, which seem quite cheap.

I have a Canon Ixus 60, and I can't find any information on if this camera is 4th generation/super CCD too - it was a lot more expensive.

I want to get as good quality as film photos on a digital camera. Should I buy one of these Fuji cameras to get this?

I'm very confused. Thanks! :)

Theres a photo competition on, I would really like to win it but i only have a fujifilm s5200/s5600. The judges really like images that show off photography skill (exposure aperture etc.) i can control and understand that stuff. But the winners used exposures and reflections off water. Anything that really stands out as photographic genius is what they like.

I dont know what kind of photo to take?

running water? beautiful skies etc...

please give any tips or kinds of photos i should take and the settings...

Thanks all you photography wizzes

Theres no set category and i can enter 4 images

I have a Sony Cybershot and I took some pictures on it without realizing that I didn't have the memory card in. Now I have all these pictures on the camera's internal memory, but I can't figure out how to get them off. The camera doesn't come with a USB cable which sucks. I don't even think Sony made USB cables an option on this model since I haven't been able to find a slot for one anywhere on it. I have a card reader, but that won't do me any good until I can get the pictures onto the card. So, is there a way I can get them onto the memory card or am I just stuck with them on the camera forever?

I have a Sony Cybershot camera. Have had it over a year. It has always worked great, but now when I push the power button the green light just flashes on then off. I have rechargable batteries, fully charged. And also tried brand new batteries and it still just flashes on then off. What is wrong? What do I do? I have photos that I would like to down load but can't without the camera being on.
