Well, I am currently looking for a new camera (preferably from Sony) and I stumbled upon the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T100. I was wondering if this is a reliable camera and if it is one of Sony's better digital still cameras? I currently have the Cybershot DSCW100 and I'm just tired of the simplistic look, bulkiness, and flash. So is the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T100 a good camera and if not WHAT MIGHT YOU RECOMMEND (something sleek and stylish and good quality, something that will last a few years, under $400)?

There are several commonly available cameras in the under $400 range, or even under $200, with better optics that take much better pictures and are easier to use than any of the Canon Powershot series. Even so, people keep recommending this fragile, difficult to use, easy to break camera with really mediocre optics. There are several other cameras that are so much better that cost much less and don't break because they do not have fragile knobs sticking out of the case. Further, the Cannon optics are blurry when compared to any but the worst of the cameras at a given price point because the Cannons do not have F-stops higher than 5. All the processing or mega-pixels in the world will not give a better image without better optics offered by a higher F stop. Higher F stop almost always means better optics which translates to a much sharper clearer image with more depth. What is wrong with these people? Why to they flock to these cheezy Canons? Marketing? Ignorance? Fad?

i got a new camera but it has an ugly stiker thing on the front of it, i made the mistake of removing it slightly, so now the corners all sticking up and if i try to remove all of it i will have a sitcky dirty patch on the camera, do you know what type of person would remove it, or what type of solution would remove it without ruining the camera?

I just really need a good small digital camera that has good battery life, high resolution, is compact, and shows you the picture instantly and can take a standerd SD card.

I have a Olympus Stylus 600 6.0 megapixal digital camera. Every time I go to a concert ALL my pictures turn out fuzzy. And it's not camera shake. What is the best setting for this other than getting closer seats (LOL)?

I have a D40 with a kit lens, a 55-200mm VR and a 50mm F1.8D. I am thinking to get a tripod but don't want to spend that much. I have read that cheap ones are not good and not worth it, so I am willing to spend up to $200, but best is around $100.

I want a lightweight one, and easy to handle. Since I am new to photography, can someone suggest some choices for me?
Is the Bogen_Manfrotto 190XB any good? Thank you very much.

I own a Nikon coolpix S5. I am planning on going on a scuba dive with it next week. The waterproof case claims that it goes up to 10 feet. I am planning on going 30ft. Should I be worried that the camera will not work once back on land? Is there a high possibility that the case will leak?
What camera would you recommend to go scuba diving that is under 150 dollars?

I have one or two digital panorama shots created using Canon's photostitch program, and I would like to print them out (approximately 12" long by 2" to 4" wide). I found a couple places online that can make digital panoramic prints ( http://www.imageevent.com and http://www.ezprints.com ), but I don't know anything about them as far as quality and trustworthiness.

If you've ever printed a digital panoramic shot, please let me know where you used and if the print was good quality. Thanks!

I must say I am indeed thoroughly confused. I would like a camera that looks and feels like a D-SLR but I don't think I can actually afford buying one. For a second I thought of buying the Nikon D40, but it turned out to be "over the budget" for me. I prefer either a Nikon or a Canon and am pretty adamant about that. I found the Canon S3 IS suiting my profile but it just gives up on the ISO, shutter speed and LCD resolution. Can anyone recommend something that could beat the Sony ??

I was searching around on the internet for a new digital camera. And i've found two that i can't really choose between.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3
Canon Powershot A630

I've read reviews on both, most of which sounded good, but there is a thing or two about each camera that I don't like.

Panasonic probably wouldn't work well in low light [at least thats what i heard] and I usually take photos indoors so that could be a problem.

Canon a-series cameras seem to have a problem with redeye. And i'm no good at editing photos to get them out, so that'd be a majorly bad problem. [but its all hearsay from reviews, so i dont know if its true or not]

Can someone tell me which one they think would be better? [and just dont pick one because you like the brand] I really don't want to waste my money on something that wont work.
