ON THE FLOOR YESTERDAY. NOW YOU CANNOT SEE ANYTHING AND THE SCREEN LOOKS BLACK AND MESSED UP. YOU CAN STILL TURN IN ON AND EVERYTHING, BUT IF YOU TAKE A PICTURE, YOU CANNOT SEE IT, EVEN IF THE FLASH IS ON, THE FLASH DOES NOT SHOW. THIS IS IMPORTANT: I CAN REVIEW ONLY THE PICTURES AND VIDEOS I HAVE TAKEN BEFORE. IS THERE SOMETHING YOU KNOW I CAN DO, SO MY CAMERA WORKS PROPERLY AGAIN? HELP!!

Can you get a very sharp image enlarging to 11X14 with a 1.8 sensor or just acceptable? Notably speaking of the Canon A630.

VicSEO always mentions the fact that Pentax SLR's have shake reduction built into the camera.

On Nikon VR and Canon IS lenses, there are two modes of stabilization. One is for those times when you are trying to hold still and take a picture of a stationary object. The other is for those times when you are trying to pan along with a moving object or when you are in a moving vehicle trying to take a picture.

I assume the shake reduction can be turned off for those times when you prefer not to use it, but how does Pentax address the issue of needing different algorithms for shake reduction for different situations? If this is not dealt with in the camera properly, I highly prefer the Nikon-Canon approach to putting it all in the lens and giving you the option of choosing the proper mode.

battery charger: lumix panasonic DE-A41
battery pack: lumix panasonic CGA-S005A
camera: lumix panasonic DMC-FX12

these things were made for use in the u.s., and i'm going to austria, czech, and hungary

it says on the charger:
"input: 110V-240V" so... does that mean it'll survive?

thanks! :D

I'm thinking about getting a new digital slr, either the Canon XTi or Nikon D40. What I'm curious about is whether or not you can just take digital photos with them, or if I need to always shoot film too. I want the ability to shoot film, but I dont want to always have to use it.

I was wondering if anyone has examples of the same picture but with different cameras and their megapixels. Like 3.2mp vs 8.1mp, something like that. Or a site that has examples like that. I can't find any! Thanks.

and how will I know it's compatible with my camera because all of the photo printers I've seen only talk about printing from your computer, but they never mention printing from your memory card.

Back on June 5, i brought a disposable camera from CVS cuz +44 was my mall signing cd's and i wanted pics, well i haveth pics developed today and i had copies made for a freind but their all so dark that you cant see the band because the flash was off. Is there a way the people at CVS can lighten the picture without ruining the quality, like can t be made into a normal picture or will there be a huge white spot or blur where th band is? I really wanted these pics to be good and theres not even a salgable picture out of them. Does anyone know if CVS will or can lighten photo prints?

I am looking for rechargable batteries for my digital camera and they range in price from $15.00 to $70.00. I have no idea what specifics to look for or what this "mah" means. Can anyone give me some guidance. My camera is a Canon A570IS. I take a lot of pictures with it. I got it yesterday and have already went through four sets of alkaline batteries.

I'm trying to help my girlfriend find one that is less than $400 and shoots high quality pictures quickly(short delay between button click and taking of picture). She says that she does not care about the size and would prefer not to have one of those flat cameras. I've been looking at:

http://www.cameraforless.com/itemdetail.asp?itemid=1856

this site and refurbdepot.com seem to be selling this camera for cheap, but is either a trustworthy site? thank you for your help

my wife and I took 80 digital pics with a HP 315 smartphoto (5 mp, 2 digital zoom, 0 optical zoom) camera. It turned outs that most of the pics were underexposed when we transfered them to the PC. They look JUST fine when previewing on the camera's display, but when we view them on the computer, browsers, Corel Paint Shop Pro, etc...most pics seems like we were standing in the dark. I played around with Corel and I'm not smart enough to figure out what to do with the gamma (red, blue, green), brightness, contrast, etc. Please help us salvage our vacation photos...once again, they are fine on the camera's preview screen, the PC is where they get messed up....I tried Corel paint shop pro and the auto fix utilities..they didn't help, although the brightness helped somewhat....thanks
