What kind of video camera should I be looking for?

I want a camera that is capable of shooting fast paced stuff, like dunks. I want to be able to put it into my pc and make movies out of things I tape. I'm a beginner and basically just wanna make stupid, but good, movies w/ my friends.

most any miniDV camera will work great for you. Check to see that it has a DV output connection for transfer to computer, most do. The computer end is more problematic. Not all computers come with DV ("firewire") input ports. If not, you will need to shop for a capture card that can convert video to USB.

.in addition..get a cam that does 60 fps..that'll be better for slo mo sports stuff.
