Chances are the camera's done for. Too many circuits that aren't tolerant of water in there.
The memory card, should be ok, if you dry it out carefully. Use a hairdryer set for cool (NO HEAT) and let it sit til it's dry.
Use another camera or a memory card reader to see if the images are still there.

It might be possible that the pics can be retrieved from the card once it is dry. Give it a try after some days. Don't throw away the card it does not work right now but try it once in while again with a card reader.
The camera might come back to live if you are very lucky as soon as it is compltely dry so leave it in a well ventilated place and hope - but it really would mean that you were lucky.

in case you may plug you reminiscence card right into a working laptop or laptop, then confident, it must be available. Step a million: provide up using the cardboard in the present day. Step 2: set up Undelete or an identical application. be sure you have sufficient virus/undercover agent ware/malware protection. Step 3: Use undelete to test the reminiscence card. fix the obtainable records (you will in all probability could fix all of those you may discover, because of the fact cameras call them with serial numbers.) (this would in straightforward terms artwork if A. The records are of a sort regarded with the help of the restoration application and B. The report in question hasn't already overwritten) you will prefer Admin privileges. I even have used Undelete PLUS for a whilst now. that's loose, and that i've got not had any problems with it.

Just try your best to let everything dry out. Sounds like theres not much hope for your camera. But for the memory card, try to dry it the best you can. Put it under a fan for a few hours and try it in some sort of other card reader, like a camera or whatever else.

You do not mention type of camera, but most have remove-able cards. (which are quite durable).
My cameras have plug-in cards. In my case the pictures are always stored on the memory cards which are then plugged directly into my computer. Is there a possibility that you can remove and clean the card, and insert into a card reader, computer, or another camera.
